1.6  OUT! England strike early! Excellent from Anderson and Rogers has already started to walk away. Fuller length on middle, Rogers flicks it softly towards mid-wicket and calls Warner through. Anderson was quick to pounce on the ball, change his direction and hurl it to the non-striker's end where there is a direct hit. Rogers was diving in but as replays confirm, he was well short.

30.4  OUT! Warner gone for 60 runs! This time, Carberry wouldn't dare drop a dolly. Short and wide from Swann, Warner goes on the back foot to cut and sends it straight into the hands of Carberry at backward point. A rare failure for Warner after getting a start and he would be kicking his back side. Australia in some trouble now.

10.3  OUT! Edged and gone! Another failure for Watson and all his patience of leaving out the deliveries outside off comes to nothing. It was on a full length outside off, Watson was in two minds and starts to push hard. Ball literally flies away off the thick edge and Swann grabs it above his head at second slip. Broad gets his first wicket. This plan of keeping it full and wide was set up earlier by Bresnan and Broad gets the award.

22.2  OUT! So, Clarke continues to fare badly at the WACA and the opposition skipper plucks out a wonderful catch to end Pup's stay. And yes, Swann with yet another wicket off his first over. A well tossed up delivery, Clarke too decides to use his feet down the track, aims to drive inside out but gets a thick inside edge. Cook dives sideways from short mid-wicket and takes a good, low catch.

91.5  OUT! Finally, Smith is dismissed! Fuller length yet again just outside off, Smith once again prods awkwardly on the front foot to defend but seems to have missed it. Prior is very much confident after Anderson's loud shout is turned down and England go upstairs. Well, Hot Spot detects a very tiny heat mark on the inside half of the bat. Real time Snickometer, the latest technological advancement also confirms that there is an inside edge as there was no pad involved. Smith walks back dejected. Does have a point though as from the noise, it didn't look woody at all. Splendid innings comes to an end as Steven Smith walks off to a standing ovation.

34.3  OUT! Dreadful, dreadful from Bailey and Australia lose their fifth wicket. He was set up with the bouncer around off, a deep square leg in place and Bailey goes to pull but it comes off the top part of the bat. Flies towards deep square leg where Pietersen adjusts well to go back and take the catch.

70.5  OUT! Haddin falls into the trap! That's exactly what England wanted at this stage. There are three men at the leg side fence, a mid-wicket and Haddin falls to it. Short on off, Haddin has not controlled his pull shot and it comes off tamely to Anderson at mid-wicket. Wait, the umpires check upstairs for no-ball. Quite close though as Stokes' foot was just on the line and a couple of centimeters behind the line. But hold on, Haddin's already walked away. So even if it's a no-ball, he can't come back. The umpires are having a discussion and eventually, he's been given out.

88.2  OUT! Broad gets Johnson! A lovely delivery to get rid of the home boy. Slants in a good length and it starts to shape away slightly, Johnson was caught on the back foot and the outside edge is snapped up easily by Prior behind. England on the move to get rid of the tail.

48.4  OUT! Straight to the man! Oh dear... Cook misses out on a century again. A short ball outside off, extra bounce, Cook goes for the cut but hits it straight to David Warner at point who dives forward to take the catch! Massive blow. Australian tightness finally rewarded. 25.4  OUT! Chops it on! Should I play? Should I let it go? Too late, son! Off you go! Indecision from Carberry. Good length delivery outside off, Carberry comes forward to defend. Then, he thinks that it is not the right length to play, and looks to withdraw his bat away. Too late. The ball goes off the bottom edge and cannons into the stumps! England trail by 300 runs!

30.5  OUT! The decision is upheld! Drama here at the WACA! England have lost 2 in no time! Joe Root is walking back distraught. He cannot believe what has happened. It was a full ball outside off and Root came forward to defend. He seemed to have missed it but a noise seemed to occur when the ball passed the bat. Haddin went up, Watson joined in and umpire Erasmus raised his finger. Root instantaneously went for the review and after numerous replays, it seemed as if there was nothing. Nothing on Hot Spot and there seemed to be daylight between bat and ball. However, when Real Time Snicko showed a deviation when the ball just went past the bat. The third umpire probably went with the on-field umpire's call. Tough look for Root. Watson and Australia will not mind it. England trail by 295 runs!

51.5  OUT! It's gone, it's gone, Siddle once again hunts down Kevin Pietersen, 10th time in Tests, and the WACA erupts in joy. Siddle is all pumped and is mobbed by his teammates. Short of a length delivery on middle, Pietersen goes on the back foot with the pull shot but fails to get hold of it. It goes in the air towards mid on where Johnson times his jumps to perfection and plucks out a fantastic catch. England trail by 239 runs!

70.3  OUT! Decision is overturned! What a review. Clarke finally seems to have found his touch in being selective about the ones to be reviewed and not. Good length delivery and swinging back in this time, Bell gets across to defend but is rapped on the pads. There is a huge shout as Bell is caught right in front. Clarke opts for the review and replays aligns everything is line as the ball was crashing into the top of middle stump. Once again it's the under-rated yet overly talented Harris who does the trick. Sent away a couple of away-swingers and then got one ball with lateral movement to trap Bell.

73.6  OUT! Edged and gone! Johnson gets his man after a couple of fantastic overs from both Harris and in particular, this man. Short of a length and wide outside off, Prior goes for the pull and finds a thin under edge through to the keeper, who goes up in appeal. They check upstairs for the front foot no-ball but Siddle was perfectly fine. 11th time Siddle has dismissed Prior in Tests.

Full length and just wide, swinging away and Bresnan was in two minds, eventually went to pull his bat out at the last minute but the ball had already glanced off the face of his bat, straight to Haddin. Once again the front foot no-ball is checked but Harris is comfortably behind the line.

81.4  OUT! Set up excellently! Two short balls, a yorker hurled in, bye bye Broad, says Mitchell Johnson. Right up there on middle and swings away a touch, Broad was set up as he was firmly on the back foot and didn't move his feet even an inch. Hits his toe and umpire Bowden's finger goes up immediately. Third umpire goes upstairs to check for the front foot no-ball and Johnson was just about okay there.

Bresnan angles across a shortish ball outside off, Rogers goes on the back foot with the cut shot but fails to keep it down and time it well. 83.1  OUT! Dropped but he is run out! Bizarre dismissal. Short ball on middle, Watson looks to swipe this across the line but miscues it big time. The ball goes straight up in the air and it looks to be an easy catch for the men standing below. Ian Bell comes running in from mid-wicket, calls for it but hello, plonks it! England cannot believe it. Watson cannot believe his luck either. But hang on, there is more to the drama. Watson ambles to the non-striker's end but Tim Bresnan puts his stare to Bell at hold, gets to the ball, turns around, takes aim and hits bull's eye at the non-striker's end! Watson is nowhere in the frame. England manage a smile. Australia lead by 465!

0.1  OUT! A golden duck for Cook! Harris bowls an absolute peach! He is flying high! What a start! Good length delivery on middle, does not hit the crack, Cook comes forward to defend but the ball moves past the outside edge and hits the off stump! Cook was squared up a touch as well. Spectacular beginning from the Aussies.

18.6  OUT! LBW or an inside edge? Either away, Carberry is out of here! Full length delivery outside off, angling in, Carberry misses his flick. The ball hits his pads and goes behind and Brad Haddin takes it to his left. Watson first appeals for LBW, then for the catch. Umpire Billy Bowden raises his finger and Carberry does not even bother to review! We understand that it might have been LBW. England need another 433 runs to win!

27.3  OUT! That is a waste of a review! But an outstanding catch from Haddin. Full and wide outside off, Root looks to drive away from his body. The ball goes off something behind and Haddin dives to his right to snap it. He celebrates, an unsure Johnson then becomes assured and celebrates. The umpire gives it out. Root immediately takes the review and we do not even need Hot Spot to detect the edge. Poor review. Australia need 7 wickets, England require 428 runs!

39.2  OUT! KP holes out! The crowd erupts in joy and the Australians are mobbing Lyon. Lyon tempts the batsman with a nicely tossed up delivery on middle, Pietersen fails to resist the temptation and once again dances down the track for a big shot over the bowler's head. He gets good elevation on the shot but not the distance and Harris judges the skier to perfection at long on. Pietersen walks back and with him also whatever little hopes England had.

59.6  OUT! Gone! One shot too many from Bell! Short of a length delivery outside off, Bell tries to play an upper cut but fails to connect it properly. There is some noise as it goes past the bat and they all appeal. Umpire Erasmus is unmoved and Australia immediately take the referral. The Hot Spot fails to detect anything but the Snickometre shows some deflection. The crowd erupts straightaway as Australia break the partnership.

98.2  OUT! That is a stunning catch to end a flamboyant knock from a young kid. Australia have the breakthrough! A Full ball outside off, Stokes gets down to slog sweep but the ball hits the rough and stays down. The ball takes the under edge and Haddin takes a great catch, just at the tip of the glove! Stokes does not even bother to hang around and that has ended a magnificent innings. Possibly England's chances as well. 168 more needed from a minimum of 352 balls!

85.2  OUT! Edged and gone! Australia have their first breakthrough! Who provides it? Local lad Mitch! A poor shot from Prior after having resisted some quality bowling. It was a full ball wide outside off, Prior went after it to drive without moving his feet. Gets a thick outside edge which is accepted gleefully by Haddin. Prior is distraught as he walks off. England need 208 to win, Australia need 4 wickets, minimum of 432 balls!

101.3  OUT! Brilliant catch from Rogers and Australia are edging closer! Full ball from Mitch, outside off, Bresnan is early into his drive and looks to check his stroke. Too late. The ball spoons off the face of the bat and loops towards mid off where Chris Rogers runs across to his right and dives to take it! Australia a wicket away!

100.2  OUT! Second wicket in as many overs for Nathan Lyon! The pitch playing its part now. Tossed up on middle, Swann goes back to work it to the leg side but only gets a thick inside edge onto his pads. The ball loops into the air and Steven Smith takes a dolly at short leg! Australia need 2 wickets, England require 157 runs!

103.2  OUT! The Urn returns to Australia! A good worked up short ball on middle, Anderson is roughed up and is in the air trying to fend it away. Ends up playing it tamely to short leg where George Bailey dives to take the catch! Australia win by 150 runs and take an unassailable 3-0 series lead!
